Last Week:
In art we made a cityscape. A cityscape is like a landscape but it’s using tall buildings instead of land or farms. Next Wednesday we will draw the sky. I will either use warm or cool colors. The warm colors are red, orange and yellow. The cool colors are green, blue and purple. In my cityscape I drew a building that looked like the Pru!
In music we did the Cotton Eyed Joe! It made me very tired. Me and Sailor were partners for the thing when you lock arms and spin around together.

This Week:
In art we are starting to do the sky for our cityscapes. When we started the sky we got a new paper so we could make the sky on it. We’re making it on another paper so when we are done with the sky we can cut out the buildings and glue it onto the sky. Mrs. McAllister also said you can trace the buildings with pencil and then make the sky so you know where to stop your sky. I traced because she said you can’t make the colors go all the way down the page because that would take too long. So it took me about two minutes to trace the buildings so then I did the sky.
