Gymnastics in P.E.
In p.e. we learned what S.P.T. stands for. S is for straddle. A straddle is when your legs are far apart from each other. P stands for pike. A pike is when your legs are together and they are straight. T stands for tuck. A tuck is when you are curled up into a ball. Now you know what a S.P.T. is. You can even practice outside!

Switches and Sudheer
In science we are learning about electricity and circuits. A circuit is a circle of electricity that can power lights or fans. We had to make a switch to turn a light on and off. The materials we had were cardboard, a brass fastener, a paper clip, two wires, a lightbulb and a battery. Our whole class tried it. Grayden was the only person that got it to turn on and off. After, Mrs. Sullivan told us to do it the right way. You put the brass fasteners through the cardboard and the paper clip through the brass fastener. Also the wires are connected to the battery. I did it with Declan and it worked. The light turned on and off in the circuit.
Also, we had a new kid named Sudheer. He is 8 and really smart just like all of us. He is also nice and positive and a nice, friend. He is super, super nice, bright and great!
