Are you familiar with “Little Red Riding Hood?” How about “The Three Billy Goats Gruff?” You will soon get to read an adaptation of one of them! Third grade authors are using the structure of these classic stories to help them learn to write fiction. They are building on all they learned in our personal narrative unit to bring their fairy tales to life. You can look forward to reading a series of small moments (scenes) that are filled with small action, dialogue and thinking of characters.
